2 Timothy 1:12
For this reason, I also suffer these things; nevertheless, I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.
Beloved,
Every believer knows that the default scripture to claim for healing is Isaiah 53:5 which says, “And by His stripes we are healed”. But they may just know it theoretically and may not be fully convinced by it. Yet personally, I am fully persuaded by Isaiah 33:24 which says, “And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick,” because it is my covenant with God which He gave me when my wife was pregnant with our first child and had some complications.
Both scriptures are in the Bible, but one resonates more with me because it is a covenant that gave me victory. It is my default go-to scripture over any matter of health or over any need for divine healing in my family. Beloved, you are only able to hold on to your faith when you are persuaded about what you know. No one can stop you; not even God will stop you. Only you can stop yourself by agreeing with what the devil is bringing to you.
The enemy is a master at getting a man to condemn himself. He does this by engaging you in a conversation which begins with an open-ended question. When you agree with him, he will supply you an answer and when you take this answer to be your standpoint, he has the right to bring an accusation against you before God based on your own self-proclaimed condemnation.
Beloved, the devil’s attack against you is to bring down your confidence and when as a parent you see your child lacking in self-confidence, take it seriously and begin to work on it.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
