Mark 4:24 NLT
“Then he added, “Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given—and you will receive even more.”
Beloved,
It is quite possible for you hear and not listen. It’s also very possible for you to listen and not understand. When it comes to the Holy Spirit, you must set yourself in the position to remain attentive so you do not miss what He is saying or risk insulting and eventually quieting Him with your dismissal.
If you are intentional about hearing the Holy Spirit, then you will surely hear Him. He is sure to speak to you in the language you understand. Per adventure you don’t understand, ask for understanding and it will be granted (James 1:5).
The scripture says,
“So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them.”
Luke 8:18 NLT.
Make every effort to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. This is a major way to ensure you’re led by Him and to ensure you’re leading a God-kind of life – one that is filled with ease, possibility, accuracy and efficiency.
