Romans 10:19 NKJV
But I say, did Israel not know? First Moses says: “I will provoke you to jealousy by those who are not a nation, I will move you to anger by a foolish nation.”
Beloved,
As common as the word “belief” is, it is a very hard concept to bear. Although this concept is simple, the devil likes to complicate it for people. Your belief in Jesus may bring offense and discomfort to people around you. Who and what you believe in can bring a separation between you and the people around you. As a parent, when you see your child entertaining a belief system that is erroneous, it is your responsibility to thoroughly turn that child back to the right belief.
Concerning general beliefs, all beliefs are technically equally believed but not all beliefs are equal. How we believe can be the same, but what we believe in is different. Note that
- God made every human being to be a believing being.
- No one can believe until a fact is established for them
- You only believe what resonates with your level of intelligence.
- Every belief produces an action or a reaction.
- Every belief directly or indirectly determines your results.
We all have equal right to believe whatever we choose to believe. Taking the power of that choice from people means taking away their freedom. The more reason we cannot force people to believe in Jesus. And this is also why we advocate knowing Jesus personally. You may choose to believe in something, but it doesn’t necessarily make that choice right. This is why we must be ready to face the consequence of our choices. We will talk more next time.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
