Another possible cause of the fall of destiny is demonic repetition. What do I mean by this? Remember when Elijah ran in fear from Jezebel because she threatened his life; he began to complain to God that he was the only one remaining and was also about to lose his life, 1 Kings 19:14-18. He kept emphasizing this point to God until God had to let him know of 7000 devout followers of His that Elijah himself had no idea existed. His complaint made God tell him to anoint another in his stead as he was invariably telling God that God should look for a replacement.
What about Peter who refused three times to eat what God Himself brought to him, Acts 10:11-16. Although he yielded to the instruction to go with those sent from Cornelius, God had to find someone else in the person of Paul who wouldn’t disobey divine instructions to go to the Gentiles.
It is a waste of time for a believer to be in God’s kingdom and yet be disobedient to instructions. Accidents is what you do once or once in a while. When you keep doing the wrong thing it has become a lifestyle. So by all means, avoid demonic repetition, so that God won’t give up on you or replace you with someone else in His divine program.

As we continue to examine how to avoid destiny falls, we continue our thought flow from yesterday on avoiding the completion of the chain of events that leads to a man. The starting point of the supply chain of a fall is lustful desire. After lustful desire comes enticement which conceives sin and inevitably, a fall.
If a lustful desire comes and you don’t yield to it, the fall won’t happen. But when you allow it to conceive, it will give birth to sin. Lustful desires comes from what you expose yourself to; what you read and watch and listen to. Now when a believer is tempted by a lustful desire, there should be a reaction in his spirit. Divine signal lets you know when you are about to be involved in something that you shouldn’t be involved in. That is the voice of the Holy Spirit letting you know through your conscience that what you are about to do is wrong.
If you receive that communication yet deliberately ignore the voice of your conscience, then you are killing your conscience gradually. When a man’s conscience is no longer alive, there is nothing for the Holy Spirit to work with in that man’s life. Don’t allow the devil to complete that chain of fall in you. King Saul shouldn’t have disobeyed divine instruction if he yielded to Samuel’s warning. David committed more atrocities, but he didn’t need to be corrected more than once about the same thing. His repentance was sincere every single time.
Beloved, train your spirit to respond to the signals and the warning of the Holy Spirit. When you do, the devil will have no way of completing that fall in you.
