It can be easy to forget why you chose to give your life to Christ, especially when it seems like the world is prospering and passing you by. Please remember that your Christian faith is your advantage. There are benefits that come with your decision. One of the greatest benefits we have is our inheritance as saints. Let’s talk about our inheritance and what it entails.
The first is forgiveness of sins, and eternal and everlasting life. The Bible’s tells us the following:
“So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.”
Matthew 19:28-29 NKJV
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 NKJV
Eternal and everlasting life in Christ is the greatest gift you can ask for. It is a major part of your salvation package that you must not take for granted.
