Hebrews 6:4-6 NKJV
“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.”
Beloved,
To enjoy life in Christ is to enjoy a taste of the future. Jesus was, is, and is to come. He is the Hope of Glory. He is the One who causes veils to break and removes boundaries from places where they should not be. He is the power of the age to come and if you have Him, congratulations! You are officially limitless.
When you have Jesus, you have the advantage of revelation. You know about and can be ready for what lies ahead on time and before time. You also have wisdom and a deeper understanding with Him. You can interpret things and situations correctly to abstain from error.
Personal revelation must build expectation. Find out the great and precious promises and partake of His divine nature. Read John 6:47-58 to learn more about the body and blood of Jesus and what they can do for you. I need you to really understand how being in Holy communion with Jesus removes every limit from your life. There is no reason not to keep advancing and moving forward because it’s part of your inheritance.
Enjoying the power of the age to come means that you never have to go backwards. You don’t have to fear crashing. You can go from strength to strength and from glory to glory.
Enjoying the powers of the age to come means progression is your portion. You don’t have to fear the peril of not progressing or any form of stagnancy. Enjoy the power of the age to come as a critical part of your inheritance package.
