Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character].
Beloved,
If Jesus is the prince of peace, what does it mean to us? As the Prince of peace, He is our peace. He not only came to preach peace to us, but He also established peace for us (Ephesians 2:14-18). The scriptures say He fought that battle for us so that you can have peace.
Your peace is not a product of what you have or don’t have, it is a product of your understanding. A man can have a million dollars in his account, yet he is still agitated. When Jesus came to you and you accepted him into your life, he gave you access to His peace, and it is powerful and effective in operation.
Teach your children to be peaceful, for inside peace is many things: contentment, patience, stillness, and calmness. Peace is a force, for the Bible says the God of peace shall crush Satan. That a man is peaceful does not mean you can mistreat him or misbehave around him. It is a power and a force that shows that he is in perfect control.
If Jesus is the Prince of peace, then He becomes the Prince of peace so as to be in perfect control of the distribution and management of peace in your life (John 14:26-27). Beloved, as a child of God, the devil does not have the authority to dictate your terms of enjoying the peace of God.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
