John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Peace is a gift (Numbers 6:26). You don’t work for it, it can be given and it is given, and you receive it(John 14).
Peace gives life to patience, and it is the combination of patience and faith that secures the promise you have received from God (Numbers 6:26). So if you say you are patient, it can be verified by the presence or absence of peace in your life and affairs. A man that is peaceful will be patient because peace will activate patience in the heart of a man.
Peace is a covenant (Numbers 25:11-12). Regardless of how rough the life of a man can be, that covenant must be activated from time to time to give him peace. The Bible says, “be still and know that I am God”. Being still is a byproduct of peace and the one who made it available for us is Jesus Christ.
We need this peace like never before, especially in this crooked world.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
