John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
Beloved,
There is a dimension of your life and calling that will never break forth until you are ready to lay down your life to God. Isaac didn’t struggle with Abraham when he wanted to offer him up as a sacrifice, although he could have done so because he had more physical strength than his father. Honor caused him to go along with his father’s actions and plans. John 12:24 says,
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”
John 12:24
A single grain of wheat will never be more than a single grain of wheat unless it drops into the ground and dies. The same thing is applicable to one’s life, we will never be more than our natural life until we lay down our lives and die.
The question you must answer is, what must you die to to gain the future and destiny that God has in mind for you? Are there some no-go areas you have set for the Holy Spirit in your life? If you want anything to multiply, you must first let it die. Christmas season has come again, what are you willing to give? What assignment have you been given to do, make a choice to do it willingly. The height of Christianity and the height of love is not that God gave Jesus, but that Jesus gave Himself. The path of giving is the path of sacrifice; it is a path where you can worship God with your pain, with your cries, with your tears.
Beloved don’t just do things because it is compulsory, rather turn it into a sacrifice and do it willingly.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
