John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
Beloved,
The way to fulfill this mandate of your prophecy is the way of love. We measure the extent of God’s love for us by what He gave, but the ultimate of love was not when God gave His only begotten Son; it was when the only begotten Son gave Himself. The ultimate is not that I tell you to do something, the ultimate is that after I have told you, you accept it and you willingly do it.
Rebecca made the choice to go with Abraham’s servant when her father asked for her opinion, she wasn’t under compulsion to do so. To pay your tithe is a command, to do so willingly is a choice. Submission in marriage is a command, to do so willingly is a choice. Our willingness is the height of stewardship and until we bring ourselves to that level, every assignment of God will always be a burden to us.
Jesus demonstrated greater love by choosing to lay down his own life for us. Why do you do what you do? How do you show honor? From scriptures we see that Jesus willingly gave His life:
- As His worship to His Father.
- As His honor to His Father.
- To the cause of His Father’s business.
- To multiply Himself.
Beloved, let all that you do henceforth be given as a worship to the Father. Be willing to lay down your achievements as a worship to God.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
