II Samuel 3:1 NKJV
Now there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But David grew stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.
Beloved,
Life’s battle can be long. The only way to prevail is with strength and might to fight until victory is obtained. Beloved, don’t allow the devil to separate you from God’s presence for it is only in His presence that strength is supplied and renewed. As your strength increases, the enemy’s hand is weakened, so contend for prevailing strength. As you do so, never find yourself saying or yielding to any of the following:
“I have no man…”
John 5:7 NKJV
The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
Beloved, it is imperative that you do not isolate yourself from help and others especially those God has sent especially to you.
“…Curse God and die!”
Job 2:9 NKJV
[9] Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!”
Never negotiate your integrity for anything. The devil will bring enticing offers. Obtain grace to refuse.
“I am fed up!”
When you yield your will to God, He takes over and gives you the strength to continue. As soon as you decide you are fed up with life, you open yourself up to spirits of depression and suicide.
A man who finds himself in any of the states we mention above, will allow his problems to overpower his reasoning. Don’t allow your situation or your spirit man to degenerate before dealing with whatever you are facing. Don’t allow the magnitude of the problem to distort the magnificence of your God to you.
