Ephesians 5:32-33 KJV
[32] This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. [33] Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
Beloved,
You can’t give what you don’t have in the place of love. Dear singles, there is nothing wrong with you. Do not fall into the error of letting a human being or devil make you believe otherwise. As a child of God, you only need to fully surrender your life to Christ, keep your mind renewed, and worship God for making all things new for you.
Love yourself. Stop waiting for another human being to do it. Only God can love you more. Receiving His love, truly receiving it is what will let you see the beauty in you that God saw ahead of time and the glory revealed concerning you. You are made in His image! (Genesis 1:26) Begin to walk like you are God’s espoused, because you are! Let Him purify you. Go through the process of preparation that He wants to take you through. Do not allow Satan to hijack your attention from Him and your service to Him.
Do not expect another human being to make you whole or give you an identity or purpose or the love you think you have been missing all your life. Only God can do that. Only God can heal the wounds of your past too, not marriage. Perfect your role as the bride of Christ by fully enjoying His love and letting His Holy Spirit perfect you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
