1 Thessalonians 5:23
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your
whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Beloved,
Today, I will like to share with you some practical tools for effective thinking. Have this basic answers about yourself:
I am – know your identity in God and be established in it.
I can – identify your gifts and talents and the things that God has empowered you to do without stress.
I have – identify the things that are working in your favor such as skills acquired, tools that have been gained, network and vital relationships that you can partner with.
I will – map out and commit to certain action steps in the direction of where you are headed in life.
I must – this shows your commitment to your goals and it kick-starts your journey to your desired destination. Regular practice of the following will help to declutter your mind, especially when you find
yourself to be overwhelmed:
What – what am I dealing with, what do I want to achieve?
Why – why is this weighing me down? Why this grip over my mind?
How – how can I get out of this?
Who – who should I talk to? Who has God appointed to help me? Who are the stakeholders I have.
When – at what point in time must I do what?
All the questions above must be answered right for effective mining of the mind.
Beloved, be consistent with the practice of effective thinking. The challenge is that we practice meditation when problem comes but it would have been too late by then because problems have a way of altering one’s perception. Guard and fasten your mind for action because the best of your life will unfold when you obey the word you have received from the Lord.
I commend you to God and the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
