Lamentations 3:58 NKJV
O Lord, You have pleaded the case for my soul; You have redeemed my life.
Beloved,
Jesus is the only way to God ; He took the necessary steps to establish Himself as so. No other man or spirit carried the love, grace, or heart of the Father to qualify himself as Christ, the Redeemer. The redemption was only made available to us thanks to His sacrifice: overcoming sin, death, hell and the grave. This prevented us from allowing critical errors in life to become the bedrock of our distinction. We are no longer limited by the authority of our flesh or that of this earthly world.
Redemption carries the authority to keep us from it, altogether. Last time, we discussed the stages of redemption. Pre-redemption establishes that the work of the cross and resurrection are complete and the Word of it is available and ready to go into action, working on our behalf immediately we are exposed to it. Redemption itself is our decision to believe and confess the word.
Today, I want to highlight the power of the final stage:
Post Redemption: Post redemption is the continuous state a believer remains in until he sees Jesus in eternity.
The work is finished. You are redeemed! All you have to do is abide in it! Beloved, your inattentiveness to components of redemption is an invite for the enemy to steal all that God has made available to you. Including His saving grace and the authority to be like Jesus and overcome every power of darkness that desires to stagnate and eventually eliminate your life eternally.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
