Lamentations 3:58 NKJV
O Lord, You have pleaded the case for my soul; You have redeemed my life.
Beloved,
Redemption is the action of saving and being saved from error, sin, and evil. Redemption is not a one-time experience-it is lifelong and gives us access to:
- A blessed life
- Supernatural living
- The fatherhood of God
Beloved, do not miss out on any of the benefits that come with kingdom living. Everything under God’s kingship is profitable, including redemption. Make the most of it. Colossians 1:9-14 points us to some truths that are critical for anyone who does not wish to fall into the error of wasting the glorious gift of Christ’s redeeming grace to give attention to:
The birth, death, resurrection, and the ascension of Jesus Christ are the most important earthly events to ever take place on this side of eternity. Why? The end product of these events is the redemption of humanity. The most important effects of redemption are:
- Restoration of relationship between God and man.
- Restoration of man to his original position in creation, in authority and in dominion.
In redemption, Jesus died, resurrected and lives on in man. Redemption makes us sit together with Christ (Ephesians 2:4-6). The greatest robbery of the devil is to reduce the message of the cross to a mere story or to completely remove the message from the pulpit. Redemption is our reality, not just a story. What it costs Jesus to redeem us cannot be compared to what it is costing Him for us to enjoy the fulness of redemption.
How can we profit from redemption, Galatians 2:20-21?
- Embrace God’s grace for it is the receipt from the redemptive process that Jesus went through for humanity.
- Acknowledge and remember all that Jesus did.
- Live in the consciousness of that grace to profit from it.
- Activate the grace, Ephesians 2:3
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
