Preserved
Psalms 41:2, NKJV
The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
Beloved,
Thanks to the mercy and goodness of God, you and I are sustained daily by His power. If you will enjoy your days, then you must permit God to preserve you. How does God preserve a man? There are many ways and means through which God preserves. Let’s consider some of them.
1. God preserves through His word, (Psalm 119:93 NIV). The word of God that preserves can be directly communicated through His Spirit to your spirit, through scriptures, or through His anointed vessels. However the word comes to you, pay careful attention to every communication of the Holy Spirit. Don’t argue with or reason out the instructions of the Spirit. He knows you better than you know yourself.
2. God preserves through peculiar visitations, Genesis 32:30. These are special experiences which can be yours by God’s mercy. Don’t miss it when God pays you a visit. God’s visitation can come as dreams, visions, impartations, or through God’s servants at designated events in your local church. It is of extreme importance to be sensitive to divine visitation. Jesus wept over Jerusalem because they were not sensitive to the time of their visitation.
Endeavor to keep divine appointments as you journey through life. Divine visitation can happen through any means, anytime, and anywhere. But be prepared for this visitation to place a demand on your convenience, your resources, and your time.
3. God preserves through His prophets, Hosea 12:13. Find out who God has anointed and approved to have a spiritual covering over you. The one anointed by God to speak grace over you has jurisdiction over you and must have been tested, proven, and trusted.
4. God preserves through His name, John 17:12 (AMPC). Scripture says that the name of the Lord is a strong tower that keeps safe the righteous. Never be ashamed of the name of Jesus. As you go through life, know this name intimately.
5. God preserves through His covenant. You are responsible to work the covenants that you have received, 2 kings 8:19 (NET).
Beloved, may God preserve you through the remaining days of this year and all along the journey of life in Jesus name.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
