Hosea 12:13
“By a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved.”
Beloved,
The office of the prophet was ordained by God to bring divine possibilities into the life of an individual which would otherwise have been impossible or extremely difficult to access if that provision was not there. Prophetic declarations can affect a man’s life positively or negatively. Blessed is the man who is on the positive side of prophecy. He will enjoy the commitment of God and the fulfillment of that word.
A person who is standing in his office as a prophet can speak forth certain declarations into another person’s life to program blessings and possibilities to that life. So also, an occultic vessel can speak forth certain declarations to program woes, troubles and curses into a person’s life. And that undiscerning person will be a victim of negative occurrences throughout life. Both blessings and curses uttered by such people have the potential to keep being in effect long after the one who declared it is dead and gone.
2 Chronicles 20:20 says, “so they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”
You can choose to believe only in God and not His prophet, but you will only be established, and not prosper. We will talk more on this topic of prophetic manifestation next time. Until then,
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
