“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Beloved,
Everything that is thriving in life has a source. While a river may have many tributaries, there will be an ultimate source for it. It is important to the health of the river that all its sources be protected, from say, drying up and contamination.
For you as a believer, your main source is God. Jesus says without Him, you can do nothing, not even a little. This means that He is the source by which every divine possibility is piped into your life. The Holy Spirit is the ultimate source by which all divine communications comes to a Christian, and you must protect that. Ensure that nothing comes between you and the Holy Spirit. Guard yourself from anything that will tamper with your fellowship with God.
God’s word must be the foundation and source upon which you build your principles. Everything else must align to the word of God. Other knowledge out there are designed to counter God’s word. They may produce results but those are not results you want in life. The end does not justify the means. In the kingdom, the means justifies the end. The result is not as important as how you got the result. What is powering the outcomes in your life?
