Revelations 1:1-3
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.”
Beloved,
Today, we start a new series. We will call this the “Revelations Series” and please understand that this is a very important one. There is a way my father in destiny would always admonish us:
“The world is full of unconscious leaders. You must not be an unconscious learner.” (Rev. Olusola Areogun)
I share this with my members and all of my children- it is one of the critical things I expect them to understand, embrace, and practice. Why? Our Adamic nature is prone to placing blame and giving excuses as the reasons for our limitations in life. However, it is that very habit that limits us. In addition to that, ignorance is the antecedent for most of our earthly limitations. People fail or fail to produce in the critical areas of life, not because they are not trying (in most cases, there are some who are simply lazy or even rebellious), but because they are trying amiss. They are trying with the wrong or limited knowledge they carry instead of prospering with Christ Jesus, the Wisdom of the Ancient of Days.
Beloved, you don’t have to be ignorant and if you are, you don’t have to remain that way. God has made the force of Revelation available to us. Revelation is a kingdom force and an added advantage for every believer and person who is ready to believe. It is designed to help us see the truth required to take the right approach and make the right decisions in life.
Revelation moves you from an unconscious lifestyle to a conscious one. There are critical revelations every believer in Christ Jesus must have. In this series, we will go through some critical revelations every believer must have. The first among them is a revelation of Christ Jesus. You can’t make Him your Lord and Savior without a revelation that He is so. You can never enjoy Him as such without revelation.
I commit you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
