Signs are very powerful in life. They help you know what to expect and what is expected of you. In order for signs to work for you, you have to be able to see them. In this series, the focus is not to have you base your entire life on signs. But signs are something that you should not underestimate or overlook.
God works with signs. There are two sides of signs we will be unpacking. Signs around you letting you know what’s about to take place, and signs that confirm what God has spoken concerning your life.
Signs are pointers or announcers of times, seasons, people, and personalities. If signs are not in place concerning these things, much can happen in life that we will not understand or be prepared for.
For example, every devil has a smell. With God, too, even when He does things suddenly, he has given an announcement or forewarning. If we neglect signs, we will miss seasons and timing.
Many times, people see things happening in their lives and they ask, why is this suddenly happening? Chances are it was not sudden. They just did not pay attention to the signs. One of the most important reasons for signs is preparation. When it comes to spiritual things, you don’t want to develop the habit of finding yourself unaware, so learn to pay attention to signs so that you are well equipped for what is to come.
