Galatians 4:7 TPT
Now we’re no longer living like slaves under the law, but we enjoy being God’s very own sons and daughters! And because we’re his, we can access everything our Father has-for we are heirs of God through Jesus, the Messiah!
Beloved,
I want to remind you that if you have given your life to Jesus Christ and accepted Him to your life as your personal Savior, you are His child. As we grow older taking responsibility, we easily forget this reality that we remain His children. So, we tend to prove our maturity by becoming less dependent on Him. We become “unreal” in keeping our status of maturity, and unfortunately, this costs us so much.
No matter your growth in Him and your status in life, you remain a child before Him, and God wants you to relate with Him from that standpoint. He wants you to express your dependability on Him. When you do this, He sees it as your worship of Him and rides on His majesty to help you.
Finally, the passage above reveals that a major benefit of being a child of God is that you have access to everything that is God’s. What a privilege! So, you must know that you have access to His wisdom, provisions, and Spirit to mention a few.
