Acts 1:21-22 NKJV
“Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” And they proposed two: Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. And they prayed and said, “You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which of these two You have chosen to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.” And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.”
Beloved,
Has it ever been that someone was teaching, or preaching and your heart was filled with everything else you would say if you were the one ministering. Or maybe you were reading a book or hearing a song and you thought to yourself, I’m sure I could much more. I know I can do better. Beloved, start living your message now. You need not wait for a title or for someone to hand you a microphone. Before anyone is ordained to a ministerial office or leadership position in our ministry, they would have already been doing the work of that position for years at least.
How are you living your life? Are you living out the message you are so sure you can preach? Is it fully aligned with God’s word? Are you currently serving in the body of Christ at full capacity? By now, it should be your nature to be sharing the gospel and ministering. The only title you need for it is to be a born-again Christian. Start living your message now.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
