Acts 1:20-26 NKJV
“And they proposed two: Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. And they prayed and said, “You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which of these two You have chosen to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.” And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.”
Beloved,
We see here that Mathias was chosen to be the 12th apostle. We also do not hear about anything Mathias did after his appointment. It does not mean he did not do any apostolic work, but it does mean that every decision he made or did not make after he was chosen to carry out his apostolic appointment was not deemed worth mentioning.
Praise be to God for He has chosen you to share the message of His glorious Kingdom. The next thing is for you to make a decision. God never wants to override your will. You will have to choose to serve Him. You must choose to align your will with His. The devil can come up with so many plans and devises to stop or slow down your destiny, but nothing he can ever come up with is more powerful than your decision. What are some decisions you must make today to be sure you are fully aligned with the will and word of God? Be intentional about making those decisions today. Note that anything you decide to do or say reflects the life you are living. Be sure your decisions look like the message you should be living today as you prepare for tomorrow and all eternity.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
