Beloved,
One major way to boost your faith life is to increase your expectation. What you hear + your word + your attitude = your expectation. Faith is a force that should help you see everything according to the will and word of God. It’s your spiritual sight. Beloved, there is a level of this God-kind of sight you cannot attain until you learn how to “expect to receive”.
We get used to doing things by our own hand and we stop expecting things from God. Expectation literally means to await, tarry, and wait for something precious. If you are a child of God, you must always have something you are expecting or waiting for. Here are a few things you must begin to habitually wait for to boost your faith:
- Expect God’s intervention on every matter.
- Expect the fulfillment of God’s promises and prophecies every day.
- Set expectation of what you want in a service before you come and for your time in God’s presence.
It was by faith that you received the gift of salvation and it is by faith, you will keep it.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
