Genesis 3:12 NKJV
Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”
Beloved,
If you want to lose in life, the best thing you can do is play the blame game. We have all played it, starting with Adam. Man’s default response to the discovery of a problem is to look for who to blame. When the issues of life arise, we struggle or forget to do one of the most critical things God designed and instructed mankind to do on the earth: take ownership and exercise authority.
If you keep blaming people, the government, your circumstances, or even yourself, you will only end up embittered and lesser. That is, less like the God of your salvation and living a life that is lesser than the one He created for you.
Why not direct that same energy you use to the play blame game- a game with no winners- to take responsibility instead of continuing to carry around guilt and condemnation? Why not use that same energy to learn from the matter and move forward? Then, instead of reducing yourself, you’ll advance in wisdom and grace.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
