Acts 28:22
And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,
Beloved,
As we continue our journey in life, we occasionally find ourselves in unfamiliar terrains of life. It is a time when we cannot figure out the future based our past experiences, neither can we grasp it with our senses. This is what is referred to as “the fear of the unknown”. We must be careful not to let this fear take over.
The fact is that the best part of your life is in the unknowns, and that is the reason why the devil camouflages it with fear to stop you from taking an adventure to that realm. In overcoming this fear, you must know that the default human expression to this fear is worry and anxiety. When all these are in place, we end up abandoning a noble pursuit and flee. So, you must put in place a right system that will guard your mind against worry and anxiety. Part of the things you must put in place is:
- Praying ahead: The prayer you pray ahead will rise against the fear.
- Knowledge: What you have known over the years about life and God becomes a force that rises against the fear.
- Spirits: The spirits that work for you keep you from worry and anxiety.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
