2 Timothy 3:16-17
That the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
Beloved,
Taking territories will require work on your part. God is in the business of choosing people for good works. He also qualifies people for such good works. But even if He calls you and qualifies you, it is you that must be ready to take that territory.
How will you know you are ready to take ground? How have you done in your place of training? In order to take territories, you must be ready to play your role. You cannot afford to relegate the place of training as you must be prepared for any giants you will have to fight along the way.
How can you train? Train by taking up kingdom assignments. What work are you doing in your local church? How are you glorifying God and preparing for destiny at your job or in your school? God creates opportunities for you to develop the capacity necessary to take territories, but you must be sensitive and diligent to identify and make the most of those training opportunities.
You must also develop your spirit man by yielding to the Holy Spirit. Are you sensitive enough for the Holy Spirit to trust you with information? Can He trust that when He instructs you concerning small things, you will follow through? Do you feed and exercise your spirit man in the word of God and with fasting? If the Holy Spirit knows He can trust you to allow Him to guide you in the small things, He will be your great advantage as He guides you to claim territories.
Don’t waste time and chance. Strengthen your relationship with the Holy Spirit and do not relegate the place of training.
