1 Samuel 17:45-46
45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel
Confidence is a major catalyst in the equation of life which causes a change or an event to happen quickly. Confidence can make both positive and negative events to happen faster than expected. As Christians, we are told to confess the word. However, the confession of the word is not profiting many Christians because they are confessing without confidence in the words they are saying. When confessing, your heart must be in agreement with your mouth. This can only be if you believe the word and you are confident that the word will surely come to pass.
Believing the word is not enough, you must add confidence to it. Your faith works better when you exercise it in confidence. Have you met some people who speak with confidence though all they are saying are nonsense or lies, and some who faintheartedly speak the truth. There is a greater tendency to believe a lie that is spoken with confidence than a truth that is spoken cowardly. While believers who have the truth shy away from declaring what they know because they lack confidence, unbelievers are parading themselves around with lies and deceits.
Make a choice to speak and defend the truth today. The kingdom will flourish based on the confidence Christians implore in presenting the kingdom to others.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
