My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.

Today, I will touch on three reasons why the expectations of some fail.
The first reason is that some expectations are unrealistic. The person that is expecting to reap where he has not sown must not be disappointed if the expectation is not met. A student that has not been studious and expecting a miracle of a grade A score is having an unrealistic expectation.
Lack of patience is another reason why some expectations are not met. A lot of people on the faith lane do not have the patience to wait for what they are expecting, so they give up before the time of manifestation.
The final reason why expectations of many fails is that their expectation is not of the Lord. People rarely crosscheck with God to find out if their desires are of God. What God is committed to is that which is from Him; others are attended to, based on his mercy. I can guarantee you that if the expectation is from the Lord, it is worth waiting for because in His time, the expectation shall not be cut short.
