For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

Expectation is like a string for pulling things in the realm of the spirit. Every time you have an expectation, you pull every spiritual resource at your disposal to bring about the fulfilment of the word you have received. Spiritual intelligence shows that life does not just respond to you because you are smart, life responds to you because you have a balanced holistic approach to it.
If you want to open the door of your house with your key and it is not readily opening, the fact that you are sure that you are using the right key to open the right door will let you keep trying with an expectation that it will open. When your expectation is failing, check all the parameters. If all of them are accurate, then keep at it. What you expect will happen in no time.
