Philippians 3:13
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.
Beloved,
Some specific things are needful in life and if you are able to identify and explore them, you will have a smooth sailing. We identified some yesterday and will consider more today.
One step, 1 Samuel 20:3. The more you grow, the more sensitive you must be to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. This is because one right step can make you while one wrong step can mar you for life. Be sensitive to divine restraints and constraints. Also be sensitive to divine push by the Spirit. Divine restraint will help you avoid any step in the wrong direction while divine push will propel you to taking steps in the right direction.
One place, Psalm 1:1. Be careful of what places you go to. Don’t sit in the seat of the scornful.
One accord, Acts 2:1-2. As you grow, church attendance shouldn’t be by compulsion but by divine choice. Be with your fellow believers in one accord, let your commitment be wholehearted. Strive for one accord in your home and among your family members.
One vision, Philippians 3:13-14. Be focused on your one vision born out of a knowledge of your destiny assignment. Out of one vision, many streams may flow. Paul was called to be an apostle but from that one assignment, he founded many churches, led many to Christ, and fathered many sons in Christ.
One seed, Matthew 13:31-32. You don’t need too many ideas to make it in life, one is enough. If your one seed is planted in the right soil and is nourished adequately, a good harvest will be your outcome.
One day, Zechariah 14:6-7. Some seasons of life may seem dark, but surely day will come bringing light with it. So don’t give in to frustrations because of your present circumstance. Trust God to bring light that will turn your night into day.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
