Job 28:13
12“But where can wisdom be found?
And where is the place of understanding?
13 Man does not know its value,
Nor is it found in the land of the living.
Beloved,
The rate of moral decline in our generation is alarming, and it is traceable to a decrease in love and in the search for right knowledge that can make men wise. Our generation watches movies for hours but sleeps off while reading. The more avenues for learning abound, the more people run away from wisdom.
There are two dimensions that Jesus brought to the life of every believer: the wisdom and the power of God. As much as possible, ensure that the two sides are at work in your life. However, if you need to choose one out of the two, go for wisdom. Value wisdom and guard it jealously. A man who does not know the value of wisdom will pay dearly for discounting it.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
