Job 28:13
12“But where can wisdom be found?
And where is the place of understanding?
13 Man does not know its value,
Nor is it found in the land of the living.
Beloved,
Years ago, I heard a man of God say that he used a good part of his early years to pray for wisdom regularly and he is now living to enjoy the harvest of wisdom. I also heard Papa Kenneth Hagin say something similar. He said that there was season in his life that he kept declaring that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation is upon him. Since that time, I regularly pray the same for myself. In fact, I teach it in my church that one major prayer every serious believer must pray till they see Jesus is praying for the spirit of wisdom and revelation.
Wisdom is powerful and must be well-valued, lest the devil takes it away from you. One major name a believer must not let people call him is “a fool”. A believer whose life portray folly is a disappointment to redemption.
How do I know you value wisdom? I will see it in what you spend your treasure (money and time) on. I will see it in the attention you pay to learn from the wise. I will see it in how you structure your life.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
