Job 28:13
12“But where can wisdom be found?
And where is the place of understanding?
13 Man does not know its value,
Nor is it found in the land of the living.
Beloved,
When I started out in ministry, I used to make myself available for everyone. I love to counsel people and be always there for people. I still do, but now, with caution. I brought in caution and conditions to how I am available to people because I realized that a good number of people do not cherish wisdom. Some have already made up their minds what they will do, while some do not have a regard for what they indicate they are looking for. So, what I do is to tell whoever wants me to counsel them to call to schedule an appointment, and my observation is that many of them do not call back while those that call back do not keep to the appointment. This shows me that people do not value wisdom.
It is senseless to pay to educate a fool, since he has no heart for learning
Ecclesiastes 17:16, The Living Bible
Your value for wisdom will be seen in how you passionately pursue it. One major mystery about wisdom is that wisdom does not yield its strength to someone who has no heart for it.
