Luke 18:26-27 NKJV
And those who heard it said, “Who then can be saved?” But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Beloved,
In life, sometimes as believers we receive news that can bring a feelings of hopelessness right along with it. It is natural to think, speak, and respond in alignment with the perceived hopelessness of the moment, but this cannot be the posture of one who is walking with God. Our walk with God is a supernatural walk. That is, we must move and respond in alignment with who God is, and what He has spoken concerning us and our situation, and the requirements He has given us for supernatural living.
As we walk with God, the messier news around us can be, the more we ought to be intentional about rejoicing. Those who are spiritually intelligent practice this because they know that with God, all things are possible. As long as there is God, there is hope. They trust Him more than they trust the natural news that dares to intimidate them. As you walk with God, you begin to know more about Him and by default, your trust in Him increases. You will need to trust Him more if you will be successful in your destiny journey. Pray to trust Him more. As we continue in this series we will continue to emphasize the role of trust in our walk with God. For now, I leave us with this scripture:
Psalms 112:6-8 NLT
[6] Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. [7] They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. [8] They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
