Galatians 6:4-5 NKJV
But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. [5] For each one shall bear his own load.
Beloved,
As we established last time, as a child of God, one of your motivations must be your determination to be a viable seed on the earth; one who is a good steward of the Word of God and bears fruit accordingly. Let’s look at a few more characteristics of men who are viable seeds on the earth:
- He is a man of the word: Psalm 119:9: “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
- He is a man of prayer: Luke 18:1: “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.”
- He is a man of integrity and honor: Proverbs, 2:21, AMPC: “For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the men of integrity, blameless and complete [in God’s sight], shall remain in it.”
- He is a man of strength and authority, Ecclesiastes 7:19 BSB: “Wisdom makes the wise man stronger than ten rulers in a city.”
- He is a man of wisdom: 1 Kings 2:9: “Now therefore, do not hold him guiltless, for you are a wise man and know what you ought to do to him; but bring his gray hair down to the grave with blood.”
There must be something unique about you that your children will not see in their companions. Let your children be willing to talk to you. They will have this confidence because they know that they will always find solutions from you. Show them you have something better to offer than the world. You have the authority of God’s Word! They should be able to see it at work in your life! Let your life and lifestyle stand out so that they will be ready to pattern themselves after you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
