Matthew 13:12
“For whoever has, to him, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
Beloved,
What will you do with what you have received? The following are responses one can give to divine donations. You must determine in your heart that you will respond appropriately to what the Lord has done for you.
Complaining is one thing people love to do with their current situation or circumstance. Matthew 25:24 says this:
“Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed’.“
When you complain about what you have or what you are experiencing, it shows your heart condition to God.
Another thing people love to do with what they have is sit on or hide it. Matthew 25:25 gives this account: “And I was afraid and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.” Are you going to change your schedule to accommodate the new changes you need to make happen?
Rejoicing is another response we can choose to have. 2 Samuel 6:12 says,
“Now it was told King David, saying, ‘The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.’ So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness.”
Returning the glory and praise to God for everything He has done for you is wisdom. What do you do to give God praise? Beloved don’t be too dignified before God. Use your testimonies and praise to worship Him for His goodness. Be undignified with it.
We will look at more on this subject next time. Until then,
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
