Genesis 1:1-5 NKJV
[1] In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. [2] The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. [3] Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. [4] And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. [5] God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
Beloved,
When you receive light, you must profit with the light. If you will profit with something, you must understand its purpose. So today, let’s look at what light brings.
- Light brings Illumination and clarity. Without light, a man can only stumble along in life, ever wondering if he is on the right path.
* Light brings commitment, tenacity, tirelessness. Once you know what to do, how to do it and where to go, you won’t mind the rigor that comes seeing that goal through to the end. - Light brings speed. When you have light, you can see ahead and run ahead. With light, you can be sure you are on the right path and can really make progress.
- Light brings answers to perplexing and confusing questions. Like Ephesians 1:18 says, when the eyes of your understanding are enlightened, you will know.
- Light brings excitement and passion. This is especially true when you have answers to some issues that may have been baffling to your mind. With it also comes passion to pursue your cause.
- Light brings information. Isaiah 45:3 lets us know that there are treasures in darkness i.e., information in obscure places. With light, the Lord gives you access to this treasures.
