“You may as well know this too, Timothy, that in the last days it is going to be very difficult to be a Christian.”  -2 Timothy 3:1, TLB

In a world that thrives on opinions, emotions, and noise, every genuine Christian must root themselves in what does not change: the Word of God. To live set apart, we must let the Word live richly within us—not as a visitor, but as a resident.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…” (Colossians 3:16)

Firstly, this kind of inner dwelling doesn’t come passively—it must be practiced.

“Train yourself to live a godly life” (1 Timothy 4:7, GW)

Just as the body must be trained to endure, our spirits must be conditioned to withstand the pressures of modern Babylon.
Notice and place emphasis on the word “richly” that is used to describe what our relationship with God’s Word should look like. Not superficially. Not occasionally. Richly. In other words, the Word of God is meant to be the home we live in, not a hotel we visit when we feel weak.
Reading, studying and meditating on the Word of God is not about accumulating knowledge. It’s about letting the Word form us. Scripture teaches. It heals. It corrects. It exhorts. It sings over us in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs when we’ve forgotten the melody of hope.

Beloved, if you have lost hope, it’s time to get back to the place God has prepared for you. Ensure you are where God’s wants you to be when he wants you to be there. Let your hands be found so doing.

Reflection Invitation:
* Where in your life is the Word a whisper instead of a weight?
* What patterns are shaping your spirit more than Scripture is?
* How might the Spirit be inviting you to rekindle your hunger for holy things?
Prayer: Lord, build my life by Your Word. Let it dwell in me richly—unshakably—so that when the world speaks, I am not moved. Train my spirit in truth. Saturate my thoughts in wisdom. Form Christ in me. Amen.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
