1 Peter 5:8
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
Beloved,
The devil doesn’t always knock loudly. Sometimes, he simply waits for us to open the door ourselves. Many times, believers give him permission without even realizing it. Not knowing God’s Word makes us vulnerable to deception. Stopping or neglecting spiritual activities or instructions such as fasting, or fellowship opens gaps in our spiritual walls.
Hosea 4:6
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
This is why vigilance matters. The devil doesn’t need a wide-open gate—just a crack is enough. But when you walk in knowledge, discipline, and discernment, those cracks are sealed.
Engaging in wrong relationships or engaging wrongly with right relationships- both give room to wrong voices and wrong word to go to work in our lives and give the enemy a foothold for wreaking havoc in our affairs. Finally, compromise… beware of it! Small sins and unchecked habits create cracks where Satan slips in. No more wrong or missed or toxic relationships! you will see men and situations as God sees them. You will use right judgement, in Jesus’ name! May God give you the grace to enjoy seeking His face and prioritizing His presence, in Jesus name.
