1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
Beloved,
You carry His presence, His glory, and His anointing. This is attractive. It should be. But not everyone drawn to your life has right intentions. Some are agents of darkness, and Satan is always looking for ways to dim or even snuff out your light.
Jesus warned us that “the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10). To the world, Satan may appear as an enemy who attacks openly. But as we have been saying, to the believer, he is a deceiver—seeking access, waiting for a door to be left open so he can rob us of our Godly inheritance. He may enter quietly, but his attack and exit are thunderous.
One way we permit the devil to disturb our destinies is through the gateways or channels of our earthly lives. Our minds, habits, words, and relationships can either invite or reject God’s presence. Where ever we are not hosting His presence, we are leaving room for satan to reign. We will not expose ourselves to anything that repels God’s glorious presence in our lives, in Jesus’ name. Until then, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
