Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.
Beloved,
God created everyone to be a part of something bigger. If you will be a part of God’s bigger picture, you must be ready to work.
Genesis 2:15 NKJV
Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
It’s not just any work, you must be ready to do the work that God has placed you on the earth to do. God prepared the garden of Eden for Adam and commanded him to tend it. Your seriousness and commitment to a cause is revealed in your willingness to get down to work for the sake of it. If you will take your place in God’s master plan, you must be ready to be fruitful, that is, add and multiply.
Genesis 1:28 NKJV
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
When you willingly join yourself to a cause, you will do all you can to add value to it. The more you are committed to the work, the more it multiplies in your hands.
Finally you must be rightly joined.
Acts of the Apostles 8:29-31 NLT
[29] The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and walk along beside the carriage.” [30] Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” [31] The man replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him.
Some people don’t mind working, but their hearts are not joined to that work. It is important that you know the people God has called you to be connected to if you will become and remain a part of the big picture.
