You can’t tell how well someone is progressing if no goals or standards have been set. Benchmarks in life determines whether or not you’re doing well. They set a pace for you in life. As important as it is to have benchmarks, it is also important that they the right ones. You must bear some things in mind when determining how well you are doing in life and destiny.
The manifestation of your destiny is the combination of God’s commitment to you and the effort or contribution you need to put in place. Don’t spare yourself from adequate preparation. Don’t allow anyone to stop you from every preparation you need to make for your journey. He who spares you from preparation is destroying you, not helping you.
I explained in the last post that you are on a journey. This mindset should let you know that you cannot afford to waste time and you have to prepare for what is ahead. The Bible describes the journey of life as a race and as a fight, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. There is a way you must run and there is a way you must fight. The goal is to obtain a prize. It takes discipline and seriousness to prepare, run and win a race.
Be prepared to endure hardship as it applies to your destiny. How serious you are with destiny will show in how much rules and structure. How disciplined and law abiding are you? If you don’t like rules, then your destiny may not happen as you will not obey the rules of your destiny.
Your preparation and performance is for a goal and a purpose. Your success is determined by the goal that has been set for you. To have a goal is to be focus minded. At the juvenile stage of life, it is okay to do what your hands finds to do, but as you mature in life and destiny, you must get laser-focused on what God has called you to do on earth.
