Philippians 1:19 NKJV
For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Beloved,
No believer can be effective in life and destiny without harnessing the resources which the Holy Spirit supplies. Trying to live without that which the Spirit supplies is sure to lead to a life of struggle and frustration. To be able to harness the supplies of the Spirit:
- Ensure you are always in the spirit. Allow your spirit to be in awareness of, and in constant interactions with the Holy Spirit.
- Live according to the Spirit’s dictates. Obey the instructions of the Spirit. Let you heart always be tender. Always be willing and obedient.
- Live in the consciousness the Spirit.
Do all you can to have the entrance of these major supplies in your life:
- God’s word. Psalm 119:130 says,
Psalms 119:130 NKJV
The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.
The entrance of God’s word opens you up to many other provisions of the Holy Spirit.
- Wisdom. Proverbs 2:10-11 says,
Proverbs 2:10-11 NKJV
[10] When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul, [11] Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,
With wisdom comes discretion, understanding, and very many virtues needed for life.
- Right spirit, Ezekiel 2:1-2. When the right spirit is in you, you will be empowered to take on divine pursuits. Your ears will also be open to hear divine communications.
Beloved, trust God for the supply of these and more. Then you will be effective in your Christian journey.
