Many times, we want God to answer our prayers on our terms. It does not work like that. Once you have identified the place or places God has established for you, stay there! Train yourself to be steadfast and expectant. Being outside of your place of provision is like being a fish out of water. How can you survive? You cannot be emotional about following God’s will for your life. If He shows you the church He has assigned for you, stay there. If he assigns you to a particular city or family, stay there.
God answers men through men. Who has God told you is your pastor? Your discipler? Your spouse? If you don’t know the answer to these, believe God to show you the place and people where your blessing and provision resides.
Some time ago I ministered in a series called “The Law of Differences”. Everything and everybody is not the same thing to you or for you. Know the role people play in your life and the appropriate response to them so that dishonor or dismissal will not keep you from identifying and enjoying your prepared things.
