Ephesians 5:23
“For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church.”
Beloved,
Another thing about saviors is that they are especially assigned. As you read the verse above, you see Christ is the head and savior of His body, the church. Likewise, the husband is the head of his household and has the role of a savior there.
Beloved, where has God placed you? What is your assignment? I often tell my members, if you are a child of God, you are called to be a leader wherever God has placed you. Don’t shy away from positions of authority. Represent Christ there. Lead people to salvation there.
I also challenge my members to ask themselves if Jesus is their Lord AND savior. If you don’t exalt Jesus as the head and Lord of your entire life, you are missing out on a critical part of your salvation experience. Enjoy Jesus, the Savior by ensuring He is the head of your life. Let Him lead you as you take your rightful place as a leader in your assigned area.
