Hebrews 7:25
“Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.”
Beloved,
As we round off this series, I want to stress that Jesus remains your savior now and forever. His commitment to your salvation is sure. John shares this commitment with us in his gospel when he wrote the following words of Jesus, “And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.”
And as we discussed yesterday, you, too are especially chosen to lead people to salvation wherever he has placed you. Be as passionately committed to the lives and destinies of those the Lord has given you as Jesus is to yours. Know your place of assignment and engage it with the heart of a savior. Trust that the God who assigned you will provide for you to do the work He has called you to do.
And know, finally, that Jesus is salvation for you, for any and everything you are going through and that He has saved you for a purpose. He abolished death and brought immortality to light especially for your sake (Hebrews 7:25). So, say out loud, especially when you are going through difficult times, “Jesus is in me and able to save me completely, finally, perfectly and for all eternity”. This is the benefit of knowing Jesus as the Savior of your life and of the world.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
