Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” –John 14:6
Life is too short to perform experiments. I sincerely believe this and say it often. Hence, We must properly define it and everything that has to do with it properly and with urgency.
Isaiah 62:2 (YLT): “And nations have seen thy righteousness, And all kings thine honour, And He is giving to thee a new name, That the mouth of Jehovah doth define”.
In this series, we are going to look at how to properly name and engage or disengage some of the critical areas of life so that we make the most of every God and God- ordained experience we have on this side of eternity. To start with, let’s proffer and answer to this question:
How do we define life? According to Oxford Dictionary, life is “the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death.”
But the Bible says tells us that death and life begins with Christ Jesus. Jesus even says, “I am
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life”
If we will define or understand anything properly, we must first of all go to the source.
Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works”
He created us. Who would know more about the created than the Creator? Where we fail to define things properly, misunderstanding, poor decision-making and wasted time are inevitable. This will not be your portion in Jesus’ mighty name.
I commend you to God and the word of His grace. I call you Blessed and Nations.
