Beloved,
We must recognize what God is doing through His Bride, The Church which is the Body of Christ. Our local church is the major authorized and established structure we must be part of to access what God is bringing for His glory and our greatness. Although, our focus here is not on correct church membership, I will encourage you to evaluate or re-evaluate both your local church and your membership. Make sure you are in your God-ordained church whose candlestick is still burning fragrantly before the heavens.
As a believer, you are responsible for aligning yourself with the mission, vison and message of God’s Word at your local church as a faithful member the same way your Pastor is called to be the shepherd. Indeed, it’s not to be taken lightly. Be intentional about asking God who your pastor is and where your church is and take both commitments seriously.
As a believer in Christ, your first encounter with God must have been with the Holy Spirit who is the Initiator and Leader that introduces Jesus the Savior to each believer. It is the most important encounter because it ushers you into God’s Kingdom, marking your spiritual birth. This is usually described as the “born again” encounter. So, if you are reading this today and you are wondering what it means to be born again? Well, I am glad you asked that question. It simply means you need to agree with God of the Bible that His plan for mankind is the only “WAY” to have a God approved relationship with God of the Bible. Accept Him, the only begotten Son, Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, entrusting your life into his Hands and leadership of His Holy Spirit who introduces Jesus to each believer.
