Have you ever received a vaccination? Are you familiar with the supplemental clubs and programs that operate in many American schools designed to help students and the school thrive? Or have you ever taken your toddler to dine out at a local restaurant? If so, you are be familiar with the term “booster”. A person or entity can have a system or concoction at work for them providing immunity where they may otherwise be at risk. But their provider, administrator or server is there to assess the situation and all risk factors and will recommend a booster shot, a booster club or a booster seat to strengthen what the person or institution already has going for them and give them an added advantage.
A booster is a source of help or encouragement. Boosters, alone, will never help you get ahead in life. They only provide an added boost to what you have in place that should be working for you. The devil is not only bad, he is busy. As much as his access to a believer’s life is limited, he will identify and exploit any area of your life left exposed.
If you want to stay ahead in life, engage in routine spiritual boosters. Here are some I highly recommend:
- faith boosters
- prayer boosters
- voice boosters
- grace boosters
The next few days we will look at these boosters and how to activate them to increase and sustain your immunity to some demonic attacks. But before we do, please understand, spiritual boosters are not an alternative to your routine spiritual activity and upkeep.
Dear Christian, what spiritual activities do you have in place? What routine practices have you established to give yourself an advantage? We see from the scripture above that having a prayer life, living a fasted life, habitual meditation and confession of God’s word and walking and speaking in faith and by the Spirit definitely gave Jesus an advantage. Take time to ensure these are established in your life and tomorrow we will jump into the boosters.
